Bio:

I’m Ollie Gill, registered OT and Medicare Approved Provider of Psychological Therapies, with 15yrs in the field. I’m experienced in working with neurodiversity, anxiety, stress, depression and low motivation with a broad range of therapeutic approaches. I offer in-clinic appointments in West Perth and mobile OT services across South-West regional WA.

Service Information:

Our therapeutic ethos is holistic, and client centered, recognizing the importance of reflection and encouragement in the planning of purposeful activity and routines. All client goals and difficulties are treated with dignity & respect and therapy is planned collaboratively and flexibly.

  • OT is available for adults and adolescents (i.e. mature teens who are able to attend an independent appointment) with mental health conditions or neurodiversity (ASD, ADHD), to help build capacity and activity health to function better in daily life. OT sessions are planned flexibly and can involve talking therapies as well as practical activities. OT can be highly effective with improving low motivation, daily living skills in the home, increased involvement in the local community and functional capacity assessments for NDIS participants.

    Cost = $193.99 per hour

  • Table Reads is a weekly group involving a *table read* of a movie script, which has been edited or re-written to unfold from start to finish in under an hour. In my spare time I’m a bad novelist and over the years I’ve adapted the 25 stories that are used on rotation in the group. When you come down to a session you can expect a relaxed, creative and fun opportunity to socially connect. This is not ‘a course’ and each session can be attended on a ‘drop-in’ standalone basis.

    Activity before Motivation is a small group session for NDIS participants featuring education and discussion around some of the best-known strategies to improve daily function. Themed sessions cover topics including improving motivation, being better organized, managing emotions, positive problem solving and setting long-term goals. A copy of our published resource book ‘Activity before Motivation’ is available for all participants.

    Cost = $40 per session

  • Reflective practice (AKA clinical supervision) is available for OTs, OT students and other professionals, including recovery coaches and support workers. This is a safe space to feel supported, develop your skills and reflect on your practice. Discount rates are available for OT students and qualified OTs in their first year of practice.

  • Our Perth clinic on Lawrence Avenue is easy to reach. Low-cost street parking is available around the local area (free on Saturdays). Alternatively, the free city CAT bus can drop you off 100 meters away and City West train station is a five mins walk.

    A limited mobile service is available to Rockingham, Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton on select days of the month, and Geraldton and Albany-Denmark bi-monthly.
